Product Warranty
Pilla Performance Eyewear (Pilla Inc.) will warranty to the original purchaser of the optical product as outlined in the following paragraphs, providing proof of purchase is produced and warranty activation is implemented. LIFETIME LENS WARRANTY: (Non Prescription) Our lenses are extremely resilient to everyday use. However if something scratches the surface with any degree of significance, simply return the lens and we will replace it at a discounted price of $100 (plus shipping and handling - minimum $20 charge will be applied) per shield or paired lenses (please add $25 for a polarized lens). This program applies to plano (non-prescription) lenses only. Magneto Lenses: Magneto lenses returned to Pilla by owner will be replaced for $200 plus shipping and insurance back to the customer. The lens must be received prior to return shipping of replacement. Magneto Rx lenses are not covered under warranty. If a lens is found to have been made to an incorrect prescription the lens will be remade. Submission of an incorrect prescription is not grounds for a replacement. A full charge for a new prescription submitted will be charged.Â
To qualify for this lens replacement program you must first obtain a return authorization (RA) number by calling customer service at 203-894-3265 opt. 1. The lens to be replaced must be returned directly to Pilla Inc., with the provided RA number clearly written on the outside of the box. If you do not return the lens, you will not receive the warranty claim. Please DO NOT return the lens to a dealer or retail store for the lens warranty claim, the lens must be mailed DIRECTLY to Pilla Inc. Â
FRAME WARRANTY: All Pilla frames are under warranty against breakage caused by material or manufacturing defects, at Pilla Inc.’s discretion, for one year from date of purchase. Warranty is void without a valid proof of purchase and is not transferable. Warranty excludes product altered after purchase, damage caused by normal wear and tear and damage caused by any improper or unreasonable use. If the frame returned under the warranty policy is no longer available, Pilla Inc. reserves the right to replace the frame with one of similar value.
MAGNETO FRAME:Â Magneto frame is under warranty for the life of the frame from a manufacturing defect. If a problem is experienced, the frame must be returned to Pilla and it will either be fixed or replaced free of charge.Â
To make a warranty claim during the warranty period you must obtain a return authorization (RA) number by calling customer service at 203-894-3265 opt. 1. When returning the product, be sure to securely pack your Pilla eyewear and include the original proof of purchase, your name, return address, and a telephone number where you can be reached with any questions. The Pilla Inc. return authorization (RA) number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box. Be sure to insure your package. Â
REPAIRS: Pilla Inc. maintains a repair department. Customers requiring repair should contact customer service at 203-894-3265 opt. 1 for a return authorization (RA) number. A minimum service of $25 plus shipping and handling will apply to all new non warranty repairs. Â
When sending the item in for repair, please include the original proof of purchase, a note describing the repair, and a phone number where you can be reached after the technician has inspected the item. The Pilla Inc. return authorization (RA) number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box. All repair costs will be provided prior to any repair.
RETURN POLICY: With prior Pilla Inc. approval, non-prescription items in new and unused condition ONLY may be returned within 30-days of the invoice date. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, credit or a refund will be processed at the original invoiced cost of the item only. Shipping and handling is non-refundable and a minimum of $25 will be charged on all returns. Pilla Inc. will charge a $25 restocking fee per frame, lens/lenses, accessory case, apparel item, or kit. Â
To return a non-prescription item, please contact customer service at 203-894-3265 opt. 1 to obtain a return authorization (RA) number prior to sending the item back. When returning the product, be sure to securely pack your Pilla eyewear and be sure the Pilla Inc. return authorization (RA) number is clearly marked on the outside of the box.
